Leslie heads up LearnBIG’s efforts in content, partnerships and marketing. Prior to LearnBIG, she led the education charge at Valve, a commercial game company, and helped inspire the industry’s entrance into the learning space. She is also a member of the Games and Learning Publishing Council of the Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop. Leslie’s career in strengthening educational experiences includes stints at the Smithsonian Institution, University of Washington and The Evergreen School. Leslie attended the United Nations International School, did her undergraduate work at Cornell University, and has a Masters in Public Administration from New York University.
Games and Learning Publishing Council member Leslie Redd says that game-based learning can grow faster and larger if people collaborate — and she says her new project LearnBig is just the latest example.
